Fun Friday Goodies!

The Clientele visited the Yahoo! Music studios in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, they just missed meeting 50 cent! They played Bookshop Cassanova, and chatted about The Beatles and The Banana Splits proving that everything does sound more adorable when you have a British accent! Check it all out here!

M. Ward will perform live on KEXP at 1pm PST; 4pm PST. He'll be joined by a special guest vocalist! If you can't listen at work, catch the streaming archive.

The Broken West are coming to the end of yet another tour. Don't worry, though, those crazy boys can't stay home for long! They did a few dates with Fountains of Wayne who gave them a shout on their Onion tour diary.

Radar Bros. avoid the fire & mix new record!

Jim, Steve, Senon & Jeff are putting the finishing touches on their new record to be released early next year. They sent us this picture of the Griffith Park fire as it looked from Jimmy's front yard and the following update:

how goes it? staying cool in the warm south of summer? getting hot here too...we will be done mixing our new record next week, and it will be mastered july 9th.

it's been business as usual over here. no crazy cocaine or pcp stories to tell. just a few sloppy bourbon fueled performances that sounded good when we did them, but not so good the next day.

xo, Jim

With so many bands on tour, it is nice to get an occasional update about crowd size, celebrity sightings, drunken antics, etc. The Broken West are excellent at sending their reports that we post here, but we thought a little blog collection would be fun "hump day" reading for you! Enjoy!
