Buskers play across the street from the HQ

The sound of the singing saw and a trumpet along with a few banjos and an accordion wafted across the street this afternoon. Sgt. Dunbar were passing through after playing Athens Popfest and decided to play a few tunes on our corner. Lindsey and I opened our street front windows and enjoyed a Neutral Milk Hotel cover and the novelty of seeing someone smoke while playing the trumpet and saxophone.

Thanks for stopping by, Sgt. Dunbar!

we are really glad you enjoyed the show. We had a grand old time and we have to say the people of Durham in general were some of our favorite people to busk for so far on tour.

We just thought we would put it out there that if the music tapes are looking for an opener if they decide to go out on tour we are totally available.

@kate - A really nice random passerby put the dollar in there after listening for a while, and we did have cds for sale but we didn't sell any.
